About

I like math and physics, and I like getting things done.

That’s why I study mechanical engineering. That, and I like to build things. A lot. This site has just a few examples of the things I’ve worked hard to build for school, work, and my own personal life.

My focus within mechanical engineering is on robotics and magnetics. I combine these two fields and make robots that use magnetically induced eddy currents to detumble conductive but nonmagnetic space debris in low earth orbit. In short: I use magnets to manipulate nonmagnetic stuff.

Beyond work and school, I love to ride my bike and be outside whenever I can. I love to bikepack and ski – so much that I have skied at least once a month for the last 32 months in a row.
